The maternity building project at Simooya is envisaged to comprise of a delivery suite and post-natal ward to be facilities at Chibozu clinic. Presently in the area of Simooya where the Trust is assisting in running Chibozu clinic mothers give birth at their homes in unhygienic settings resulting in widespread maternity infections and in some cases death of mother, child or both.
