Who We Are
Chibozu Community Trust (Charity No. 1149318) is a non-governmental, non-political and not-for-profit organisation registered with the Charity Commission in the United Kingdom.
The Trust raises funds for its operations in Zambia, specifically in the Pemba District – Simooya area in the Southern part of Zambia. We work in partnership with the local community to deliver sustainable development projects that make a lasting difference.
Our registered address is 10 Drawbridge Close, Maidstone, Kent, ME15 7PD, UK.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support the people of Simooya and surrounding villages by funding and delivering projects that improve education, healthcare, water supply, livelihoods and infrastructure.
We believe that every person deserves access to quality education, basic healthcare and the opportunity to build a better life for themselves and their families. Through the generous support of our donors, we work to make that a reality in Simooya.
Everything we do is guided by the needs of the community, and we work closely with local people, government bodies and partner organisations to ensure our projects have a lasting impact.

Our Approach
We take a community-led approach to development, working alongside the people of Simooya rather than imposing solutions from the outside. Local knowledge, local labour and local leadership are at the heart of everything we do.
Our projects span education, healthcare, sanitation, water supply, electricity, connectivity and women's economic empowerment. We look for opportunities where a relatively modest investment can make a transformational difference.
We are grateful to all our supporters — individuals, families and organisations — whose donations make this work possible.
