Current Status of the Clinic

Currently the clinic lacks women’s access to quality Midwifery services. This has resulted in failed efforts to achieving the right of women to provide patients with quality health care during pregnancy and childbirth. In order to solve this problem Chibozu Community Trust in consultation with Ministry of health in Zambia has put plans to build a Maternity wing.

It is hoped that once the building is completed, the maternity wing of the clinic will be able to provide quality maternity care services. This will make women feel safer, and at the same time respected and treated with dignity.
