Chibozu Community Trust has taken a challenge and carried out soap distribution to the population of Simooya after attending awareness take given by a local clinical nurse.

The talk was to bring awareness of how Coronavirus was transmitted through person to person contact and how the handwashing with soap after any contact with a potentially infected person, surface, or object is an effective method to help protect the community and others from infection.

Handwashing with soap washes the infection-causing germs off your hands before they get a chance to infect you, and before you touch surfaces that could help spread these infection-causing germs to other people. The public health nurse continued to emphasize handwashing with soap as a frontline defence during outbreaks, such as coronavirus.
